A talented potter that has turned her hobby into a passion. You can find her signature logo of a windswept pine tree on her pottery. Rose originally mentored under Master Potter, Sandy Smuck of Ahmic Lake, Magnetawan Ontario. Rose has honed her talent with clay and has created a unique style just of her own.
Firing and Glaze
Neil MacFarlane
While tinkering with clay as well, Neil works primarily as a glaze technician, applying commercial glazes and formulating in studio unique glaze to complement his wife’s pottery.
Taking inspiration from the colours of Northern Ontario, both Rose and Neil, work with various glazes to reflect the wide range of colours found in nature. Sunsets and seasonal shades of the leaves are always a marvel in the north.
